Must See Movie: Objectified
Objectified is a documentary featuring top designers that digs into how the creative process works dealing with industrial design. It also brings forth questions regarding what good design is and where design is going in society. This is a must See!

Charlie Davidson: Object of Desire
I love this design! This is a chaise lounger modeled after a corset. The following link will bring you to a page that shows the process from idea to finished product.

The Bufalino by: Cornelius Comanns
I dig the design concept. If you follow the link you will see that the comments on this concept vehicle are mixed. I would tend to agree with the thought that the vehicle, though very cool, does not have a firm place yet. But I would own one if I was a nomad type of person.

Peter Behrens Quote
“Design is not about decorating functional forms - it is about creating forms that accord with the character of the object and that show new technologies to advantage.”

Conceptual Twin Buildings

This was my first attempt at putting together a mixed use building. one tower would be residential and the other would be office. the lower levels would be for retail/restaurants. I realized that I had put the primary elevator and entrance to each in the center pyramid and because of the outdoor throughways to each building could pose a weather problem. oh well just a sketch.
architecture coexisting with it's surroundings
Here is a great example of how design needs to coexist with it's surroundings. if it doesn't all you have done is put a box into an area. these luxury apartments have been designed to not only give owners maximum view of the beach and coast but the design of the building follows the contour of a beach and in addition almost looks like a wave.

2,000 Beer Boxes
I know this has become pretty popular. but I still love the design. On top of that the use of beer boxes as the material is brilliant. A lot of times when people re-use materials to make art it doesn't really come together.

Cube House
I have been working on a sketch based off of a cube. the idea is to have an 2 story open floor plan that allows as much light in as possible and also being aesthetically pleasing enough to fit into most urban and suburban landscapes. It looks good so far I guess. I don't know though. I will like it after I put some color into it. maybe post it up and see if anyone likes it.
